About Me
"Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all."
Here’s a little more about the person behind the pixels and the coffee-fueled chaos.
I grew up on California’s beautiful Santa Barbara coast but made the unexpected move to Bakersfield for college. People always ask why! The truth is, I was offered a full-ride scholarship to swim for a Division I program, which made the decision an easy one, especially since it kept me close to my big, tight-knit family. Over time, I built an amazing community here that I wouldn’t trade for anything.

College ended up being a major turning point for me. While I dedicated myself to my swimming career, I also dove headfirst into campus life. I served as Vice President of our Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and became the creative director of our school newspaper. Between leadership roles and a few digital art classes, I discovered my true passion for creativity and marketing.

After earning my degree in Communications, I was offered a marketing role with our athletics department while pursuing my master’s degree. Becoming the first in my family to earn both undergraduate and graduate degrees, especially as a first-generation Mexican American, is something I’m incredibly proud of. It’s a milestone that motivates me to lead by example and show my younger family members that anything is possible.

Today, I’m just as passionate about growing in my career as ever, because I believe learning never stops.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me exploring new food spots with my dog and husband, catching live music, hitting a CrossFit class, or chasing my next adrenaline rush, whether that’s scuba diving or bungee jumping. Life’s too short not to live it up!
